A dialogue with my blogue

Hey blog. It has been 2 years I think? Sorry for abandoning you. Life has been a mix of ups and downs, fastmo and slowmo, grumpy and happy and all the crazy 2 opposing words you can think of.

Ending my teen years wasn't that easy. I am 20 now. Another stage of life, or shall I say the adulthood. I still don't think I act like an adult yet. At this age you're starting to think about a LOT of things. Things that won't even cross your mind when you were a cheeky kid or a rebellious teen. You're starting to be more concern on repaying your parents with all that they've provided you with and making them proud of you. You're scared of making mistakes of the past, and trying to achieve that perfect life that you've ever dreamed of.

I have been keeping my blog private for 1 year plus I think and now I am surprisingly (when I thought I won't be opening this blog again and let it bury on the net just like that) scrolling the first few pages of my blog telling myself, "huhh I was THAT kid". Trying to impress everyone and showing my capabilities. Well, I am not soo much different from who I was before now. About the same I think just that I am seeing things at a more detail and critical perspective.

Right now right this moment, things are just running smoothly, right on track, just the way I wanted, Alhamdulillah. I can just thank Allah for everything. However that doesn't mean I can be all chill and Yolo-ing for the rest of my life. NO WAY. Definitely a no no. I still haven't finish my degree or got the job that could pay off my car loan and or make my parents life easier by giving them some money every month. I still have to work my butts off to achieve all of that. Things get more difficult as you grow older.

Pheww, this is the process that everything has to go through. Got a long life ahead of me inshaAllah for me to create a beautiful painting of my life.

So here's to ME.  Me me me me me me me me me me only me.

The four letter word

Hello there fellow bloggerians or any earth's creature whose reading this. I am fully aware that I haven't been updating my blog for ages or should I say centuries? (Exaggerating much)

It's 2014 already and I can't believe how much time flies that I'm a year to 20! How old is that. Well that also means I'm reaching death much faster.

Okay I won't be procrastinating or delaying what I'm actually going to share on this post now much longer. As the title goes, 'The Four Letter Word', we all know it's starts with the letter L and ends with the letter E. And yeah, it is what you think it is, Love. Bingo! What does love actually means to you? Does it mean a thing, something or everything? Well that's quite subjective. I'll leave it to you guys to think about it.

This post is not really something that is personal. I don't really share personal stuff but it's just the thoughts of mine about it that I feel like I have to share it with you guys. I have been in a few relationships, yeah. Mostly didn't really last. And of course, right now I am in a very happy and retarded relationship with my beloved housemates. In college, they're my family.
At some point, I don't feel like being in those kind of lovey dovey or whatsoever true love relationship kind of thing. That's just because when I start to fall in love, I just care and love too much that it might annoy that certain person. At the end, all I get was nothing but hurt and frustration. Well, I'm not here to gain your sympathy or anything. Just something that I feel like sharing.

So thaaat, actually makes me feel like being alone. Not alone as in not being with my friends or isolating myself from those people I know, but alone as in not being tight in some kind of human knot or promises. The pain. I hate to face it but alhamdulillah I managed somehow to get over it in my very own way. Of course it's right now that I'm having this kind of stand, saying that I can stand alone, being an independent lady, I don't need a man in life and the list goes on.

However, I don't really know what Allah has prepared for me in the future. I might or might not meet that right person or shall I say my Mr. Right that I have been longing to see and meet for so long, since I was in school. He's too good to even exist. Who knows, I might meet him in the near future but I'm never desperate for it. It's something that you shouldn't like search of run for. It will come naturally.

The reason why I'm suddenly sharing about this, because some might get the wrong idea of me always playing hard to get and being not the kind of girl who prefers being in a relationship. So yeah, I hope you folks get me. How I roll.

So long, Till the next post, InshaAllah.

Au revoir.

What I called A Bliss

 Assalamualaikum, Bonjour, Hello and Hi!

I'm baaack! It seems pretty quiet here since my last post. Duhh, like who reads my blog anyway.
So it has been 2 months almost 3 months actually, being a UTP student. A lot of things happened during these few months. It feels like as if just last week that I registered to UTP. The orientation week which they called 'MAS'(Minggu Aluan Siswa), can't forget that moment too, when my ex schoolmates were still here. Most of them have moved to another preparation college to pursue their studies overseas. I'm sad that they have to leave but also proud of them.

Moving on to my classmates or what they called coursemates here in most universities. Yeah, my course has not much students compared to the other courses. Our small number of people makes us really close with each other. We have not known each other quite that long, but it seems like we're a family now. We did most of the things together. We have our own Whatsapp group chat and facebook group. That's how we communicate most of the time. It's easy to post things and any new infos.
A lot of them from other courses were curious how did our course, PG(petroleum geoscience) became so closed among ourselves? Well, it started during 'Minggu Mesra Kampus'(MMK), when we opened a   small booth selling fast foods and drinks to raise funds for our Islamic Studies class project. From there, we started to get to know each other. Surprisingly, we blend in pretty well.

Our small and humble little booth.

The time when we went to a Haunted Mansion and won a Hamper for being lucky.

                                           Intoducing the PG family

From there onwards, we started to have gatherings. Not only for class projects, just a normal gathering and hang out. We even did a study group. That one night, we have this event, a very informal and relaxed event at UTP's lakeside opposite the mosque where we called 'Pavillion'. I don't know why they gave such a Luxury name. haha. Anyway, so we actually did that event to finish up the leftovers frozen food from the time we sold the fast food during MMK. Not only that, one of our friends, brought  'Keropok Lekor' all the way from Terengganu. So we fried them and ate at the Pavillion. UTP's Pavillion is actually quite a nice place with a stunning view too. After done with our self-fried suppers, we played 'Truth Or Dare' or Spin The Bottle. haha. It's been a while since I played that game. I played that game a lot during high school.

Ramadhan has finally come again this year. Alhamdulillah. I managed to live up until this day. So it is my first time ever experiencing Ramadhan without my family. I was quite upset at first that I could not spend the first few weeks of Ramadhan with my family but then it turns out that fasting with friends here in utp is definitely a bliss. I never failed to iftar with the PG girls. Since UTP has a lot of cafe and restaurants, we ate at different places everyday. We could also iftar at the mosque. It's free and the food is really delicious. Iftar, and Tarawikh at UTP's magnificient mosque. I didn't go for Tarawikh every night as sometimes I have night classes and busy with assignments and courseworks. So I just did it in my room.
Mosque iftar

Iftar at 'Pavillion' with food from Bazaar.

Last night, after collecting donations for the orphanage in Ipoh for our class project, we had supper and sahur at some restaurant in Seri Iskandar. I ordered Lan's Fried Rice which was a dish with a mixed of western and asian. (Y) We chatted and laughed a lot. I can't even finish my drink as I'm afraid that I might spurt out the drink from laughing too much. After that, we went to Mc Donald's nearby to have our dessert.  One of our friends was being generous. He treated all of us  with Oreo McFlurry. We went back after that.

Imagine how close we are when it's only 2 months of knowing each other. I hope our friendship will continue to grow throughout our 5 years here in UTP.

Long live PG!

Campus Life

Hello, hi, konichiwa, bonjour!

I am now a University student. Alhamdulillah. I am really really grateful for being accepted to my first university option which is UTP(Universiti Teknologi Petronas). I received my offer letter on the 3rd of May. I'm even happier that I got my first course option which is Petroleum Geoscience. I'll be studying for 5 years, 1 year for Foundation programme and another 4 years for Undergraduate studies.

I registered on the 16th of May which fell on Thursday. My family sent me away on my first day. They even helped to carry my bags to my hostel room. My room was on the 4th floor which is the highest floor. Can you imagine carrying big and heavy luggage bags up until the 4th floor? Once I reached my room, I saw a girl with her family. She is my roomate. A Kelantanese who lived in Johore. She is quite nice and polite luckily.

I'm still in the  Orientation week which will last until the 26th. The orientation was called 'Minggu Aluan Siswa'. Most of the activities for the orientation was held at the Chansellor Hall. It's a 5-10 minutes walk from my hostel to the Chansellor Complex. I need to walk a lot here. Which is good because I haven't been doing any sort of exercise back at home. But here in UTP, I think I burnt quite a lot of calories everyday as my only transportation here is my feet.

Lecture and classes will be starting from today, which is the 20th. I can't wait for my first lecture later at 4pm. So I am utilising the free time given to me to sit at this beautiful library to surf the net and post an entry here.

It's a whole new different life out here. I was quite uncomfortable at first. But I think I'm starting to get a hold of it. It's a good thing that I learned to be more independent and productive. What I can say  is that, once you enter university life, you need to learn to adapt to new situations, surrounding, a new group of people and etc. Time management is also really really important. If you fail to do so, you'll be in trouble. As the saying goes, "Failing to plan is planning to fail".

p/s; I wanted to post some pictures too, but I'm having a technical problem to transfer the photos from my phone to the laptop.

A short trip to Perak

I received my SPM results last month and Alhamdulillah I passed with flying colours. I spent the whole week right after I received my results to apply for universities and scholarships. Before this, I did apply for the government universities but that was somewhere in the begining of march.
So that one day, I spent time in front of my computer and applied for Universiti Teknologi Petronas admission and scholarships such as JPA, MARA, Maybank, and Petronas.

After about a week of submitting my online application, finally UTP results were out. Alhamdulillah, I was called to attend an interview called Educamp in UTP campus which located in Seri Iskandar, Perak on the 15th of April. I was really happy for the good news as I really wanted to further my education there.
A week before the interview, I practised a lot talking in front of the mirror with confidence and prepared what I needed to say during the interview. I also read a number of articles on the current issues.
15th of april fell on Monday. The day before that, which was Sunday, I already set off to Perak and luckily we managed to find a homestay for my family and I to stay overnight.

The next day, which was the important day for me, I woke up at 6.15 am, showered and put on the Baju Kurung and Tudung which I've ironed the day before.  The registration started at 7.30 am.
I arrived at UTP campus at 7.20am. By 7.25am I reached the Chanselor Complex which was a magnificiently beautiful looking building. It was huge. It wasn't 7.30 yet but the queue of applicants were veryvery extremely long for the registration. I had one of the last and back queues. While queiung, I was given a small peach coloured paper with an alphabet and 2 digits on it. Not long after that, it was my time to register.

                                                                           Registering time!

After registering, I was told to sit at the Chansellor Hall with the other applicants. Wow, there was sooo many people there who will be interviewed just like me. I went up the stairs and found a seat near my schoomates. I knew a lot of people there. I had some of my friends from my school, tuition classes there which made me felt  slightly relieved as I am not alone.

At the hall, we were given a talk and briefing by the lecturers there regarding the Universities courses, fee structure and also the interview process. I was placed in group D which will be interviewed in the afternoon.

After the talk which finished at 10am, I still have ample of time to prepare and eat. I haven't had my breakfast at that time so I was really starving.
I had brunch with my family at a Mamak Restaurant outside the campus. It was just nearby. We went back to our homestay for a while as it was quite near to UTP.
I took the time at the homestay to relax for a a bit and prepare a lil bit more for the interview.
My interview session started at 1 pm. So I got there 15 minutes early. I went up the stairs to the waiting room and waited there with the other applicants in group D. I just spent my waiting time praying and zikir to Allah to calm myself from the nervousness I'm having that time.

An hour after that, the applicants of group D were called to enter the preparation room. The room was quite big and there were many tables being prepared. Each tables with 5 seats. The person in charge said that we could seat anywhere we want. It took me some time to find a seat as I wanted to make sure I sat with a bunch of people whom could be helpful teamates for the group interview. I sat at this table with 3 guys. The person in charge said that a table should consist of at least 3 guys and 2 girls or vice versa.
We were given a case study each. I was given a topic about Industrial Pollution. We were asked to find a solution for the case study and told them why we gave that solution. I have to convince the interviewer that my solution was the best one. 20 minutes given to me to prepare the answers. When the time was up, my name was the first to be called for the individual interview session. Whyyy am i the first?
Anyway, I walked to the panel room with high hopes. The interview session took about 5 mins or so. It went pretty well. The interviewer was quite friendly. It was a guy. Alhamdulillah I managed to answer his questions calmly and with self-confidence.  Then, it was the time for the group interview. My team mates and I did pretty well on discussing, argueing and eventually we came out with the best solution and came to a conclusion.
After the interview, I managed to stop by the library there and read a few books.

Overall, the interview went quite well. I did my best. So I'm leaving everything to Allah now.

We went back to KL at 6pm and reached around 9pm.

Employed for 3 months

Assalamualaikum and bonjour.
It's been a while. Did you miss me? NOT. Okay. I wanted to post this for such a long time but didn't really get the chance to. So here I am.

I have left school for about 4 months now. While waiting for my SPM results, I didn't chose to become a couch potato instead I worked for 3 months. Now the common question people asked me, "Where?  What kind of job? Since when? until when?". Okay. So last december, on the middle of december I think, I went on a job hunt at KLCC accompanied by a friend of mine. First I went to Parkson KLCC, one of Malaysia's leading department stores. I went straight to their customer service counter as soon as I entered the department store. I took a number and sat and waited on the couch there. There wasn't many people there so in no time it was my turn. So I went to the counter and asked, "is there any vacancy here?" . Then the staff asked me how old am I. I told her I was a school leaver. She straight away gave me a job application form for me to fill up. I took about 10 minutes to fill up the form. Then I'm done. The staff said she will give this to the Human Resource department and told me to wait for a call.
After my first job application, I actually planned to go to a few more stores such as Isetan and Harrods. But I end up just applying for one job. haha. So much for a job hunt.

3 days later, I received a call from an unknown number. It was an office number. I hesitated to pick up but then it was actually Parkson who called me. They told me to come for a job interview that weekend and told me to bring my PMR and SPM trials result. I was reaaally excited to receive a phone call from my future employer. It was my first time ever experiencing this kind of joy of being called for a job interview. haha.
That weekend, I went to Parkson for the interview. Waited for about half an hour, I noticed there was my schoolmate who was waiting to be called for the interview as well.
Finally it was my turn to be interviewed.  One of the staff showed me the way to the office. I was quite nervous at that time as it was my first ever job interview. I walked slowly towards the HR's table and sat on the chair. It was a malay lady in her mid 20's. She looked kind of young. So first thing she told me to introduced myself in english. I did as she told me to. After that, she said there were 2 vacancies each from the Customer Service's department and Cash Management department. I chose the Cash Management department. That means I'll be working as a cashier. She then said she will hire me and explained to me about the job details and etc.
A few weeks after that which fell on the 3rd of January. I went to work with a white formal shirt and black slacks. My mom sent me to work on my first day. She dropped me off at KLCC's main entrance. I have no idea where was I suppose to go. I just followed the people who were wearing black clothes that might be Parkson's staff. Luckily I followed the right person to the staff entrance. I was quite scared seeing people whom I've never met at all. I saw there was a security table at staff entrance. I didn't know where to go. And then one of the staff told me that I should just wait in front of the store's entrance until it opened. So I waited and straightly went in. I went to the customer service counter and the staff directed me to the office. The same lady in the HR dept again. She asked me to sign a 3 months contract and told me to read all the long list of terms and condition. After done with all signatures, she gave me the staff's uniform. I was overwhelmed. She told me to go to the changing room outside and change to the uniform to see if it fits. Luckily it did.
Then, I finally get to start working after the lunch break. I was directed to go to the Household department's cahier counter to work as a packer. I saw unfamiliar faces everywhere. I smiled at the cahiers there and told them I was new and asked what did I have to do as a 'packer'? I was taught how to pack customer's item neatly in a paper and a plastic bag. When the clock striked 6 I got off work.
So there goes my first day at work.

After a week of employment, and being trained how to be a cashier, I finally get to open a counter. I wasn't really ready though to be a real cashier. Luckily there was this old cashier, who helped me out.
I enjoyed my work actually. It was quite fun. I met new friends whose my age. Actually most of the cahiers there were school leavers too just like me. So I started to become comfortable working there as the Supervisors and Executives there were also nice and friendly. They didn't scold me for making mistakes during my first 3 weeks working there.
There was a time when me and my collegues went for a movie right after work. I had a great time with my collegues. They were quite fun people to hang out with.

The night when we finished watching "Hansel and Gretel" and most of the shops were closed.

I was high after the movie and loads of popcorn.

My expenses for going to work wasn't that much too. I took the LRT to work everyday and ate lunch at the staff's canteen. The staff's canteen was quite small but the food there was delicious and cheap. I had white rice with a few Malay cooking style side dishes which only cost about rm 3 to 4. Well there was a time when I wanted to eat at the foodcourt outside. I did eat at the outside foodcourts but very seldomly.

My salary wasn't that bad too. My basic was rm1100 and they gave me a comission too. However, they did deduct a few percent from my salary for EPF and Socso which was good actually for my future.

oh this was me at gents department.

My ex colleague named Asfa went for a visit.

On the 2nd of April was my last day of employment. I was quite relunctant to leave my job and the other colleagues behind. But  I had too. I could actually extend my contract but I decided to stop as most of the colleagues my age had stopped working already. But that was not the main reason I stopped. The main reason was I haven't took my driving license and I needed to prepare myself for University and College interviews which will be taken place in the middle of April. On my last day of work, I managed to say my goodbyes to the other staffs. They were quite upset to see me leaving.  I told them not to worry as I will visit the store in the near future.

So that was my employment story. Appologised for the long entry. Thanks for reading!

City Lights

Bonjour 2013!  I am turning 18 this year. Can't wait!

Last night, which was new year's eve, I went to have dinner with my family at some Mamak restaurant nearby. About 9.30 after dinner, I went to one of my close friend's house, Fina. My other friends also gathered there. We sat on the chair in her house's porch and talked about how we were spending our holidays, universities, colleges and scholarships.

By 11pm, one of my friends drove to pick our pizzas at Dominos and went straight to the planned destination.  It was somewhere near Bukit Antarabangsa and Ukay Perdana, there was a hill where you can see the whole KL city, KL Skyline. It was definitely a breathtakingly beautiful view up there. The colourful lights at night. While waiting for the fireworks to start, we ate our pizzas and onion rings.

When it was almost midnight, we stood up and started  counting down till new year. However before we even started the count down, we could already see fireworks from Genting Highlands, they were quite early. The best thing was that we could see fireworks from a few different places. There were from klcc, Stadium Merdeka, the Curve and many others.

Oh forgot to mention that there were also a family of Wild Boars on the hill. Everyone was scared that the wild boars would chase us off but it turned out they were harmless. Give them a break, they wanted to celebrate 2013 too.

These people were the ones I celebrated the New Year with. Great, awesome friends.

Left out

I have been feeling left out since I was in primary school. I was quite a loner back then. As I got into secondary school, I started to make more friends.  I have lots of friends at school, the friends whom I always hang out with, look up to. I am also the type of person who loves to gain acknowledgement, not really like an attention seeker. I just want people to notice my presence.

Up until now, I always felt being left out. The group of people whom I really love hang out with. Sometimes,  I don't feel like I belong to the crowd. I am sometimes not invited to some kind of events. I'm the one who have to invited myself.  How pathetic is that.

Oh well, this is one of the bitter situation in my life. I accept them. Everyone has one right?

Left, Right, forward, backward? Which route? Which path?

Too many question marks for the post tittle? Sorry for that.  Okay, as you know, from my last post, I am a person who is done with school. Next, I have to move on to the next phase which is the College/University phase.

Recently, I've been going to education fairs. So far this year, I've gone to three of them. I did received a  lot of brochures, prospectus of universities. I did not have the time to look through all of them yet. I have been concerning about this(the path I should take after school) since early this year. I even went to an open day at some institute.

The question is have I really made up my mind? I am still uncertain. I do have certain options in mind.  The problem with me is I kept on thinking, what if I am not qualified? what if I don't like it?  how about the education cost?
I still have time to think about it AND for sure I need to think long and hard enough so that I won't be making a decision that I would  not regret for the rest of my life.

Merdeka?

Hello there, it's been months. I should've update earlier.
Recently, I've just ended things with SPM. My last paper was Biology on the 27th November 2012. We shouted 'Merdeka' a few times before we leave the school.
The Merdeka' feeling after SPM was not that much of hapiness. Well yes, I felt free, as if there're wings grew at my back and glad that it's all over. I just can't seem to believe that it's all over. After 5 years no 11 years of wearing school uniforms, waking up early in the morning, studying for school exams. No more man no more I tell you. How great that is. However, it's quite depressing that I'm not going to see 3 quarters of the people in the exam hall anymore. Maybe I will. Those who were quite close to me, Insya Allah, we will make time to see each other in the future.

It is december 2012 already. The funny thing about it, when it was this time 2009, people were busy about the end of the world dec 2012, but you see people right now, acting as if nothing would happened. I don't believe it will end this december because I know no one knows when it will happened. Only Allah knows when, and when he said happen, it will happen.
That's kinda off topic isn't it?

So here I am, early in the morning right after the Subuh prayers, I straightly turned on my computer and started typing on the keyboard. I was actually thinking of going outside for a cycle around my neighbourhood, to feel the coolness of the morning and get some fresh air. I haven't been exercising for so long, storing fats all the long, all I did was study, ate, study, ate, and sleep. Now I think I have to keep healthy, not saying that I will jog everyday. No. I'm sooo not promising that.

Yeah, there's a lot of plans I had in my mind before SPM ended. I made a long list too. But I haven't done like a quarter of it. There's just so many things to do. Sometimes you don't know where to start. Updating my blog was one of the things I wrote on my list. A tick for that!

that's All, till then.

My Pledge

Hello there, it's a typical Sunday evening.  The sad thing about today is, it's the last day of the mid term school holidays. I'm still in the holiday-relaxing-as if I don't have a homework to do mode.
For me, I didn't really manage my time well during these holidays especially for an SPM candidate, I should've been working my butts off for the Trials that is less than 7 weeks. I think.
I haven't really had the realization or self-motivation to really strive for the Big exam. And for that, I need to write a little pledge.

I Aliah Umairah bt Shamsoor Munawar promise to myself that starting for tomorrow onwards which is the beginning of the second semester, I need to reallyreally do at least a revision of the topics I've learned, execute all the tasks given to me, practice really hard for my ABRSM practical Piano exam grade 8 to achieve at least Merit, put all my heart out during my preparation for the Trials, I need to buck up! get back on track! Get a hold of myself! Reduce internet consumption per day. Last but not least, be a better person.

I might not be able to post any entry expecially the looong ones in this coming future. Wish me luck! Till then, Assalamualaikum.

That really unforgettable moment of my life.

Hello, Hi, Bonjour. As always, I'm not a very updated person. It's June, my last post was on February. It's been months! It's the mid term school holidays now. The first week of holidays was really incredible. I went to Miri and Mulu which both places located in Sarawak. It's for the annual school trip/camping. To me, it's not like a camp at all, it's like a vacation with a really big family, which I won't get the opportunity to experience that as I have a really tiny teeny little family. What I meant by a BIG family is, my teachers and friends. It's the first time ever for me, getting the opportunity to travel with a friend, taking the flight with them. It's a whole different kind of feeling. Only 8 students including myself, joined the trip. There were about 14 to 15 teachers there. So there were more teachers than students.

The adventure started on a Sunday almost midnight. We had to gather at school at 11pm that sunday. We went to LCCT airport by bus from the school an hour later. We reached LCCT around 1.30 am. Our flight was at 7am Monday, so we had an ample time there at the airport. We were supposed to sleep/rest there, but I didn't cause I can't. Maybe I was too excited. The three of us, which were the seniors there, me, mimi and fauza. We went to the Coffee Beans, I bought myself a Vanilla Latte Ceylon Tea which was really heaven on earth.

Then, we just rest there, until we were about to check-in our luggages. That moment was when an unforgettable incident occur where the travel agent who were in charge of our trip, asked for our ICs. Only then, I remembered that I've forgotten to bring my IC! How awful that was! My teachers were like how could you forget the most important thing that you were supposed to bring? I started to become panic, couldn't sit quietly. Without my IC, I can't take the plane. They need prove for my tickets. And so, I was forced to call my mom whom was sleeping back at home at 4 am that time, I told her that I've forgotten to bring my IC, and asked her to checked whether my IC was there in my purse at home.  I had no choice,  but to asked my mom to bring my IC to the airport. I really didn't want to burden her especially when she was sleeping soundly at home.

Fortunately, she did went to the airport just to send me my IC that I've forgotten to bring along. It was at the very very last second  that needed to prepare to go to the boarding hall. Alhamdulillah, without her, I won't be able to make it to   Miri and Mulu, Sarawak.
Thank you Mak, I love you so much. I promise that I will repay you someday. oh and thanks to my teachers who waited patiently for my IC to arrive. hehe.

From that incident, I really really learned a lesson that is to always bring my IC or pasport whenever I'm going anywhere especially when I'm going somewhere far away from home.
Now you know one of my weaknesses, and that is CARELESS!

Oh, before I end this entry, I would like to clear something out. Actually this entry was supposed to be for me to write about my trip to Sarawak and how much fun I had there but on a second thought, I've uploaded 1 thousand plus photos on facebook divided into 4 albums. Most of the people had seen the pictures there and if were to write everything about the trip here, it would be a very very long-winded and a boring entry. So I thought about just to wrote a part of the trip that was veryvery unforgettable and important event that occur.

me standing in front of a very breathtakingly beautiful view in Mulu, Sarawak near a place where we stay.

And this is a very retarded-looking photo of myself enjoying the blissful boat ride 'like a boss'.

Me, being a Senior.

Hellohellohello. Are you excited? Cause I'm excited.. to post an entry. haha. I haven't update for quite some time. You have no idea how hectic is being a form 5 or shall I call senior. Yeah, I'm a senior. It feels so great to be one. You can walk, talk, laugh all you want when there's only juniors below you. You will tend to have the senior kind of power, conqueror. Muahaha. Nahh, I'm quite nice to my juniors. I respect them so they can respect me too. I feel like a hugee sister at school. Huge as in eldest, not size. Ouh forgot to mention, I'm placed in 5 Bina this year. 3 years of high-schooling I owned the title of Binaian's from 1 Bina, 4 Bina to 5 Bina. I'm glad actually, I was kind of a little expecting 5 Azam at first, but then I'm thankful to be 5 Bina with all my peeps there. 5 azam and Bina has no difference in IQ level or academics. Both of them are the top classes. That's pretty much about the beginning of my senior life. I'm going to cherish the last days of being a high schooler. And also my one and only goal for this year, STRAIGHT A's in SPM 2012. Amin.

To do what you love

Are you sick of working in a job that is hard and does not pay you what you are worth? This is what most everybody in the world does and they are supposed to feel lucky that they have a job at all in some people's eyes. This is not the way it should be because there are plenty of easy high paying careers out there and you can find the easiest high paying jobs for you without any struggle. One of the things that people forget about when they are looking for a job is what the career field is going to be for them and what they love so much about their lives and what they do. Those that work for a living are really not living because they are working. Work is not supposed to be a negative word and it is not supposed to be all that difficult either. That is, if you love your work. The secret to finding the easiest high paying jobs is to make sure you start by getting into the career field that you belong in and love. This is very important because if you do not get yourself into a great place that you belong in, then there will never be an easy high paying career for you because you will always be working for a living. This is not what you want or anybody else wants and you need to search until you find better. You have hobbies, like everybody else and there is always something you have wanted to do in order to make the money that supports you and your family. It is time you actually chase that dream no matter what others say. There are reasons why some people are happier than others and this is directly related to the easy high paying careers that are available for you. If you love to work on cars and you always have, then you should be a certified mechanic and maybe even open your own shop. You can even take this a step further if you love to work on high performance cars you could work on race cars or if you enjoy older classy cars you could specialize that way as well. The key is to find out what you really love and to do it. This means you might have to do a lot of research in order to find the right type of things that you need to experience in order to find your true calling. Do not think that this cannot change over time either because we all change over time and we get sick of things and move on. Finding your easiest high paying jobs could mean there is more than just one option and that is fine. Explore everything and think about what you love the most. Sayonara 2011

Today's the last day of 2011. 31st December. 2011 has been a great year for me. There has been a lot of ups and downs I've gone through throughout the whole year. Alhamdulillah. Thank you Allah, for letting me, for still giving me the oppoturnity to breathe to still see the world up until now. I've just watched the final episode of Maharaja Lawak Mega, my mom, my bro and myself have never missed the show. Osbon, my favourite comedian won. Soo glaaad. Anyway, back to the topic for this entry, about leaving, having to say goodbye to 2011. Being in form 4, has been a great starting point, a new challenge for me. It was a rough start. However, Alhamdulillah, despite the hardships, the hecticness, tears, joy, sweat and blood (okay, I exagerated a bit, I didn't hurt myself aite) Haha. I love my class, 4 Bina, which was the best class in form 4 wait no, the whole school! I love how I had a group of classmates of multiracial. They were all very sporting, open-minded and a bunch of smarty pants. One of the most vivid memories, sweet memories of us together as one team, was when we disected frogs. It was a whole lot of fun. Everyone was scared of the hopping froggy, but as soon as drops of chloroform has been poured on the container, the frog became unconcious, and everyone was excited to see what was inside it (the frog).
Ouh and my class was a bit special as mine was the chosen class for the exchange student. An Argetinian girl named Carolina. She was really hermosa muchos hermosa, which means very beautiful in Spanish. She wasn't that fluent in english as she speaks Spanish full spanish in her country. At first, we have to use sign language, drew on a piece of paper so that she could understand. It was amazing having her there, a challenge for us to teach her Bahasa. There was this evening, she came to my friend's house which was quite nearby mine, so I decided to cycle to her house. As I was on my way, I bumped into carolina and my friend. They were taking a stroll along the neighbourhood. Suddenly I had this idea. I asked Caro whether she wanted to sit at the back of my bike? And she was okaay with, but she did say she was very heavy, but then I showed her my not-that-muscular biceps. Haha. So yeah, it was a fun evening, I even invited her to my house, dropped by a grocery store, Hero.
That was some of the unforgettable memories with my classmates. Ouh and there was one more, when my class did a trip to Sunway Lagoon. Sadly, not more than a quarter of the class could joined. Only nine of us including our dedicated form teacher. To list, write, type everything here would made a loonngggg boring post. And I bet no one would be able to stay that long facing their computer screens.
Not forgetting my dear beloved friends whom I spent time with for the whole 2011. You girls and guys were irreplacable. ;)

Midnight's not really a glimmer

What am doing? what am i thinking? I better stop now. I've been trying to avoid it for sometime now. I said to not want anyone get dissapointed, but in the end, I was the one whom dissapointed. You're digging your own grave. Yes, i could deny it with all my heart, how many times I want to, but I could never lie to myself. I know this isn't right. I shouldn't do this. I cannot stop thinking, I Cannot get myself to ignore. Umai, you're not this weak are you? This isn't you. You are stronger than what people think you are. Why, how can you easily let this slide? Hey come on, stop being too emotional, sensitive and all, you're not trying to act in some melodramatic drama. Don't be blinded by it. I even try to force myself, to push myself away from it. I'm trying to act like all of this never really happened. That's not possible. I follow my heart most of the time. Now it's time for me to listen to my mind, my rational thinking mind.

TwentyPlenty hours With Adani

Morningggg. 9.42 am, THRS. Adani just went back. Twenty hours felt so short. She came yesterday at somewhere around 1 pm. We had a sleepover planned since the school holidays just started. Finally Wednesday which was yesterday was the perfect day and timing. The first thing we did was bake macarons. She wanted to learn making it from me as I successfully able to make them even though it's not really perfecto. We spent about 3 hours or so in the kitchen baking them. It was pretty great because before this I used to bake macarons alone which needed plenty of help. Despite the little disturbance in the kitchen, my cats and my brother who helped to mess and annoy us, we managed to bake a small round french cookies with purple and orange colours and you know what that is, Macarons. The first activity went well. Actually I had all this sleepover activites listed. These were the things I listed : 1.Bake Macarons 2.Watch a Movie 3.Make-over 4.Girl talk 5.Cam-whore-ing I know how girly it everything were on the list. What to do, we're still girls, teenage girly girls. In the first place, I did invite Mira and g-ha, ma other two girlfriends to this sleepover because Dani thought it would be awkward if it was only the two of us. This I think, the first or second time Dani sleepover at my house so she was a lil shy. haha. Ouh back to what we did after baking. We went upstairs to my room to perform the Asar prayers. Then, I asked her whether she wanted to watch a movie, she said anything at all. We watched 500 days Of Summer, only halfway because she seemed not to enjoy the movie that much. I chose something else to do. Unexpectedly, I found my last ballet concert's DVD where I performed a HSM song with my ballet classmates. Adani had been interested in ballet since we were in primary where I showed her my ballet tights, leotards and etc. We watched the DVD for a while, showed her the dress I wore during the performance. Later then, I opened the iPhoto app on my computer. I have all the photos since 2006. We looked at the old photos of us together when we were in primary. It was kinda funny to see how we used to look back then, with our tudung's not in place, how chubby my cheeks was, how cute adani looked and also our classmates photo during primary. They looked so different compared to now, those who used to be short had grown really tall, those who looked cute had grown into a manly and tough guy. Haha. We missed everything we saw in the photos. Good times, good memories. 15 mins before maghrib, we went downstairs for a cup of tea and ate some of the macarons we baked just now. Then, we went back upstairs to shower and to perform the maghrib prayers. As soon as both of us were done, I had all my make-over kits prepared. I bullied adani and made her as a doll. LOL. Poor Dani. To enlighten the make-over mood, I pretended to be the host of a make-over reality tv show. It was hillarious. I exaggerated a lil bit more, I told dani, I was the director, producer, camerawoman, make-up artist of the show. I had the idea from a reality tv show Tangkap Muat and Plain Jane I begin the make-over by applying a very dramatic eye-liner and sparkling gold and orange eyeshadows. Then, I continued with the eyebrow, mascara, blusher and pretty peach glossy lips. Puff here and there, we're DONE! She looked like a hollywood celeb. An absolute transformation! Adani was surprised to see her make-over. I had to put myself some make-up on too as we're going to do the next fun part, PHOTOBOOTH! We made all kinds of retarded facial expressions in front of the camera.
After the make-over
Later that night, my mom took us both for a dinner. It's a pretty late we were having. We went to NZ instead of Al-kader, the nearest Mamak restaurant as it was fullhouse. Then, it was a about time for us to go back. It was almost midnight by the time we got back from the late dinner or shall we say supper. We took a lil bit of time to edit our photos. We even did a GIF photo. Before we hit the sack, the last activity of the day was a late night MOVIE! This time, we watched A Walk To Remember, a movie adapted from Nicolas Sparks' novel. Great movie. It was almost 2am in the morning. Both of us were sleepy. We said goodnight to each other and hit the sack. We got up at around 8. I wanted to sleep more actually. haha, but adani woke me up. She had to leave early. So, quickly we prepared ourselves for breakfast downstairs. My mom made us scrambles eggs and a cup of coffee. So english. Not long after that, Adani received a phone call from her parents. So that's where she had to leave. Wished she could stay longer. Anyway, we had a frasometastic sleepover!
Yeayy! That's all folks! Thanks for reading this long entry.
